House Flipper, a home repair simulation game, has quickly become one of the top selling games on Steam right now.
In House Flipper, you will buy a damaged apartment, fix them and try to sell for the highest price. Combining demolition, refurbishment and work, the goal is to make the best of your time and profit yourself. Everything happens in first-person perspective, from picking up trash to remodeling the kitchen.
You may remember a rather strange game a few years ago called Viscera Cleanup Detail. That game puts the player in the role of a space janitor who cleans up the ship after an unfortunate accident. House Flipper gets straight to the point with everything very realistic, similar to simulation game series like Farming Simulator or Truck Simulator. Cleaning up the trash is just the first step, the game also includes mini-games related to lining the floor or wiring.
House Flipper is not only noticed on Steam but it is storming in the top 10 games on the Twitch stream platform. At the top is Korean streamer saddummy, reaching nearly 7,000 views. The Korean guy cleaned the warehouse and dumped the trash, and installed a new shower faucet.
In general, the job is similar to everything you would do every day when owning a home. It’s just that everything happens faster, and of course, with fewer accidents than in real life.
House Flipper from Polish indie developer, Empyrean, sells for $19.99 (188,000VND) and is compatible with Windows and Mac. It is currently on sale on Steam for 169,000VND. House Flipper also includes additional DLC at launch. Called Apocalypse Flipper, this DLC comes with three bomb shelters and radiation shelters.
