Publisher Koei Tecmo has announced that the Ninja Gaiden trilogy will no longer be a console exclusive and will soon launch on PC on June 10.

3 titles Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Sigma 2 and Razor’s Edge will appear on PC in a collection called Ninja Gaiden Master Collection. This collection will also come with all the old game modes and DLC for free.

Ninja Gaiden series of hack and slash games is famous for its fast combat speed and extreme difficulty. The game franchise is developed by Team Ninja, known for many other titles such as the Dead or Alive and Nioh series.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was originally released on PS3 in 2007, followed by Sigma 2 in 2009, then Razor’s Edge first launched on Wii U in 2012 (before coming to other consoles).

All 3 games are ports of the original Ninja Gaidens 1, 2 and 3. Lets players go through Ryu’s adventures with new game modes and enhanced graphics.

Based on current information, it seems that Master Collection is just a simple port version, without many upgrade elements.

Developer Team Ninja says the collection comes with “mostly” of the old game modes and DLC costumes and four new playable characters to choose from: Ayane, Rachel, Momiji, Kasumi.

The closest game in the Ninja Gaiden series is Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, which was released in 2014. It’s also the only Ninja Gaiden game on PC, at least until June of this year.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is coming to PC via Steam on June 10, as well as Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
