The hit MMORPG game kills 5000 gamers for daring to advertise real money services

Thousands of players Final Fantasy 14 was banned after using real money to purchase in-game goods and services. Another small group of players were also penalized for the same reason.

Although the publisher has taken “strong hand” measures, there are still many players whose accounts are locked. Previously, more than 9,500 accounts were deleted in 2019, including those using bots.​
