Can be seen as the Oscar or Emmy of the gaming industry, The Game Awards are held annually for game experts and journalists to vote for the game of the year. The winning games were announced in December at The Game Wards, with game journalist Geoff Keighley as the organizer, which has been going on since 2014.
This year, six games competed for the title of Game of the Year, including Control, Death Stranding, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Super Smash Bros. UltimateandThe Outer Worlds. It is difficult to see which game stands out more, but this time Death Stranding received the most nominations.
