Bethesda said they are considering grateful a fan in The Elder Scrolls 6. The developer has responded to posts posted by this fan’s wife on social media that they will try to pay tribute to him in the upcoming PC game.
Colton ‘Colt’ Meredith, before his death, expressed his desire to appear in Skyrim. The late fan shared his wish on Facebook with the following content: “I would give up everything just to appear in Skyrim”. Last week, Colton’s wife Raven began a media campaign to make her husband’s wish come true. Raven first created a character based on Colton’s appearance using tools in Skyrim and then tagged Bethesda on Twitter with the caption: “if a new NPC design is needed, this will have profound implications for he.”
Raven shared that Skyrim is one of three games Colton owns on Xbox 360 and that he spent hours immersed in Tamriel. Raven and Colton met while playing a real-life role-playing game (LARP: Live action Role-playing Game). She described Colton as a very kind person, he always took care of injured birds until they were healthy. Raven’s campaign became increasingly popular, and Bethesda contacted her. While the developer hasn’t made any promises, they do say the company will try to include Colton in the game: “We’ll be looking at the possibility of including him in The Elder Scrolls 6. Of course, we do. No specific promises can be made at this time, but please provide his name and other information to us. We will do our best.”
