The developer propagates “staying at home to play games is to save lives”

Dirt Rally 2.0 and Sniper Elite 4 will add new ads with the content: “Let’s at home. Let’s save” into the game to give safety advice to players in the situation with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic around the world.

As reported by BBC, some of the major game developers in the UK, including Codemasters, Rebellion and owner Candy Crush Saga, Activision-Blizzard (King), is working with the government to launch the “Stay at home. Save lives” campaign in some of their titles, in the hope that this message will reach more people. . The messages will be visible to UK players.

Games will convey this message in many different ways. Dirt Rally 2.0 puts the message on banners along the tracks in the game. Developer Rebellion to the notice displayed on the game download screen of Strange Brigade and Sniper Elite, PC players are also attached a link to a website that provides information and advice about the COVID-19 virus.

The above message may also appear in some other Rebellion titles.
