The corner of “squeezing” teammates: Posting stupid status online, male gamers make the whole team banned from playing

As you know, teamwork as well as teamwork is a very important factor in Esports, contributing to the victory of the whole team. However, in the case below, these gamers must have expected no teammates at all.

Recently, a pro gamer of Fortnite named Wrigley caused a stir in the community when tagging the creative director of Epic Games Donald in a tweet that reads “literally fucking k!ll your$elf” (let’s die). Although the male gamer changed some letters to characters to avoid Twitter’s automatic censorship feature, his account was still deleted shortly after.​

It is known that this tweet was posted by Wrigley just before he and teammates Dictate, Userz attended the finals of the Fornite Champion Series North America region. However, Wrigley’s foolish actions resulted in the team being banned from competing, and his two teammates also had to say goodbye to the $ 700,000 tournament that they had toiled for weeks to qualify.

Both Dictate and Userz were desperate for what was going on. On his personal Twitter, Dictate sadly shared: “I played this whole season without getting any money, oh my god.” Meanwhile, Userz wants to find a replacement for Wrigley: “I wish we had a chance to change another member. What Wrigley does is completely out of our control, we’ve spent a lot of time on this game looking forward to changing lives.”​
