New Nightdive Studio shares images that reveal some of the new architectures and environments in our Alpha test System Shock.
The Polygon page says the alpha version is only open to invited or “cutting” players who spend at least $750 as collateral in a Kickstarter fundraising campaign.
“Welcome all to System Shock: Adventure Alpha! Players can freely visit the Citadel Station to collect items, Audio Logs, read letters and complete game missions from beginning to end.
In the video’s description: “These are simple structures with their intended purpose, not just beautiful works of art. They are not only restructured to make Adventure Alpha more interesting, but also a sketch that outlines the direction for the programming team in graphic design, lighting, levels and countless other things. again”.
After a few “brain hacks” comments, Nightdive added: “The alpha will use the levels and architecture from the previous part of the game. The goal is to rebuild each level one by one and fulfill all the requirements required to complete the game. There will be many more updates in the future, hope you guys will keep an eye on it.”
Nightdive Studio’s 2016 System Shock remake was a huge success. The mobilized capital reached 900,000 USD to 1.35 million USD.
After the hiatus earlier this year, CEO Stephen Kick explained it was “a period of content development and staffing changes, so the studio was faced with changes in the size and budget for the game.” .
