Months ago, publisher Gun Media and developer Bloober Team officially announced the trailer for Layers of Fear 2 – the sequel to the first-person psychological horror game.

However, at that time, the game still did not have an official launch date, nor did it confirm which system the game would support. Recently, the studio announced the release date: Layers of Fear 2 will be on sale on May 28, 2019 above Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The first part, Layers of Fear, came out in 2016 and then on the Nintendo Switch in 2018. At the moment, we don’t know if the game will be ported to the Switch or not.
Talking about the content Layers of Fear 2, the game revolves around a Hollywood actor in the Golden Age. He accepted an offer to participate in a film shot on the ocean by a mysterious director. Unlike the first part, the pictures will no longer be the main theme. Layers of Fear 2 will use film history to tell stories as well as bring fear to players.
In addition, Layers of Fear 2 will have the participation of veteran actor Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination) as the narrator. Fans need not worry too much about his narrator voice because this is not the first time he has participated in a game project. Todd previously starred in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, playing Admiral Tommy Briggs, then voiced Rodek in Star Trek Online, and Vortigaunts in Half Life: Episode 2.
