Summary of rumors about Diablo 4

Diablo sequel rumors continue to flourish. According to many leaked sources and rumors online recently, each side said that they are holding inside information about Diablo 4. Will Diablo 4 have a single-player Witcher style? Will this be a traditional MMO game? Unfortunately, there is no official information to help us believe. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have interesting information about Diablo.

Blizzard’s Diablo Projects

What we can be sure of right now is that Blizzard is working on multiple Diablo projects, as confirmed in the “Future of Diablo” video two months ago. At least one project will be AAA with the amount of work being recruited by the company on the Blizzard website under the tag Diablo. Of course, this project is still being kept a secret, but it doesn’t look like it will be kept secret for long. Blizzard also confirmed it plans to share more Diablo projects in development this year.

It’s all about BlizzCon 2018 – this is the expected event the next Diablo project will be revealed. We continue to look at the latest information from Blizzard, fueling predictions and rumors. Blizzard released the official BlizzCon 2018 calendar last week, confirming the first event after the opening ceremony will be about Diablo “What’s Next” (what’s next). Usually the first event after the opening is always for the big announcements at BlizzCon. In other words, a Diablo project will be announced at BlizzCon on November 2.

The above information is what Blizzard officially confirmed for the next Diablo project. We have multiple Diablo projects in development, including at least one AAA game, and Blizzard will most likely announce something in BlizzCon 2018. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t consider it. through the rumors about the game.

Diablo 4 Rumors

In April, a person on 4chan claiming to be a member of the World of Warcraft development team made a special claim. He said the next Diablo game will be like The Witcher or God of War, completely single-player to confront The Elder Scrolls. He also said a remaster of the first Diablo is in development. Although this information is not confirmed, the idea that Blizzard is trying to create an open world game is clearly well received by the community.

A new rumor has surfaced on Reddit that the next Diablo will be online multiplayer. It still has the old camera perspective and still includes the class system, but will be heavily influenced by ARPG MMOs like Lineage Eternal. Overall, Diablo will apply many games to add depth to traditional Diablo gameplay. With Blizzard games now more online and more service-oriented, this direction for Diablo 4 can be trusted, but again, this source comes from “a friend of a friend”…

However, these rumors have no supporting information at all. The only fact we have is that a Diablo game is in development and will most likely be announced at BlizzCon on November 2nd, but for now, it’s a great opportunity for fans to get excited about it.
