Sony will probably limit PS5, only 1 pre-order per household

Information about game console the next generation of Microsoft is something that many users are interested in and often look for. While reviewing the code code on the Web PlayStation Directa user Reddit discovered that Sony may be limiting pre-orders for PlayStation 5.

The user found a bug in the source code of PlayStation Direct, where you can buy the gameaccessories and game consoles games. Error message pops up when user tries to add more PS5 game console into their shopping cart.

The user digs deeper into the code and finds a line of text that says “You can only buy one version of the console PS5. You have added a PS5 to your cart”.

It is conceivable that when trying to buy a console directly from Sony, the limit would be one per customer or potentially one per household. This seems to apply to both versions of the PS5.

No further details in the source code reveal when this error message appears. Allowing only one PS5 per shopping cart to make it possible for more people to buy the console before retailers have a chance to reach it.

A similar method was used when PlayStation 4 Open for pre-order, each household is only allowed to buy 1 piece. Although it is a bit inconvenient, it will help prevent retailers from buying in bulk and reselling at a higher price.

A separate source code on the PlayStation Direct website also allows viewing of images with content “PS5 compatible”. This may be the text that will be used to display games and products PS4 Which is still usable on PS5.
