Since gamers also love anime, ASUS ROG and XPG teamed up to make “waifu” RAM

The “waifu” RAM kit co-produced by ASUS ROG and XPG may not make your game better, but it will certainly make your PC look more unique.

ASUS recently partnered with XPG to launch the first anime-inspired DDR4 RAM kit, a limited edition of the SPECTRIX D50 RAM series. This “waifu” RAM system has a dominant white tone and is printed with the character Tian Xuan Ji copyrighted by ASUS. For extra sparkle, the RAM bar is also equipped with a beautifully-dissipated RGB LED strip, and of course it’s also compatible with the ASUS Aura Sync ecosystem.

The RAM kit has two versions of 16GB (8GB x 2) and 32GB (16GB x 2), both with a clock speed of 3600MHz. According to the official spec sheet, these RAM kits will have CL18 and operate at a voltage of about 1.35 – 1.45. In addition, the RAM kit also supports XMP 2.0.

Regarding the price, the 16GB version will cost 170 USD (4 million VND), while the 32GB version will cost 310 USD (more than 7 million VND). Because they are limited editions, it is quite possible that they will only be produced for a short time, and the quantity is also very small, so it is not easy to buy. It seems that these waifu RAM kits will be sold mainly in the Asia Pacific region.
