A recent news shows the series game JRPG classic Shining Force there will be a chance to revive on the mobile platform when HIVEthe Japanese subsidiary of the Korean developer Vespa (King’s Raid), has acquired the ownership rights to this game from SEGA to develop more new games based on popular IP. The first game of this deal is titled “シ ャ イ ニ ・ フ ォ “, which officially translates as Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness. There are still no exact details about this game, but HIVE has confirmed it will be in the familiar simulation RPG genre. SRPG: Simulation Role Playing Game is where players can nurture other characters in a unique world. Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness is expected to have a Closed Beta in early 2022 before a global launch in the same year.

Once a big brand of SEGA when it first appeared on Genesis 1992, Shining Force has quickly “changed flesh” when switching from a role-playing game to a more popular action role-playing form.
