The new trailer for Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection is out, and it will include a game that has never been released before. One of the seven games in this collection is Samurai Shodown V Perfect – an update from the last Neo Geo with new content added.
This part was previously canceled despite being completed – and now fans will have a chance to play it for the first time. You can watch the trailer below:
The seven games in this collection are:
- Samurai Shodown (1993)
- Samurai Shodown II
- Samurai Shodown III
- Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa’s Revenge
- Samurai Shodown DRAW
- Samurai Shodown V Special
- Samurai Shodown V Perfect
Each game is updated with an online mode, and the code is completed to ensure smooth gameplay. You can choose between normal play or ranked. A museum mode includes artwork, design documents, and developer interviews, and a music app that lets you listen to over 200 copies of the series.
The game will be available on the Epic Games Store on June 11, Steam on June 18, and also on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Eshop, Xbox on August 27. The game will be sold for a regular price of $40, but for the first week on Epic Games Store, it will be free.

Another new game in the series, titled Samurai Shodown, is also coming to Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
