mousesports went from being one map behind to beat Natus Vincere 2-1 to win the StarSeries i-League S4.
On the first map, Overpass, Na`Vi started the T side with a pistol round win. But in the next round, they almost lost to mousesports when ropz went to the field with Desert Eagle. In the third round, mousesports suddenly got on the gun but did not succeed, putting them in a weak position.
Na`Vi continued to have the opening net, widening the gap to 8-1 for the home team. mousesports finally broke the opponent’s dominance, winning two rounds in a row. But Na`Vi soon responded immediately – sweeping the opponent to lead 11-4.
Team Ukraine kept the tempo of the game with a second pistol win. But ropz’s ace didn’t give Na`Vi a map point. Unfortunately, with the distance too big, the home team ended the map after losing 2 rounds in a row.
mousesports entered Mirage with a completely different image and took a 3-0 lead without letting the opponent plant a bomb. Natus Vincere then also got her first score thanks to a successful 1v2 flamie clutch. But the European team soon countered, bringing the score to 6-1.
Thanks to the melancholy tackles from s1mple and Edward, Na`Vi got a few more wins, but that wasn’t enough. At the end of the first half, mousesports, with their solid defense, recreated the first half of the previous map, leading 11-4.
The second half progressed more quickly as the two teams continued to score points, with s1mple continuously saving their team with their outstanding ability. With the player’s explosive form, Na`Vi shortened the gap to 1 round, but the team ace from mousesrpots helped them reach 14 rounds first.
Natus Vincere raised hopes after winning the next round, resetting mousesports money. Team Ukraine continued to compete successfully, reaching match points. But at this point, having been cornered, mouz responded to send the game into extra time with a score of 15-15.
The first overtime could not determine the winner as both sides won two rounds on the T side – Na`Vi was able to do this thanks to two 1v2 phases from electronic. In the second overtime, chrisJ became the hero as he repeatedly killed the opposing team members with his AWP, helping mousesports win 4 consecutive rounds to bring the game to the third map.
With the game in their favor, mousesports got off to a flying start on Train, winning eight of the first nine rounds. They repeatedly hit B – where Zeus completely missed.
Na`Vi finally stood firm after winning 3 of the next 4 rounds, but mousesports didn’t care at all and won the last two rounds in the first half to secure an 11-4 scoreline.
A quadruple from Edward in B gave Na`Vi a pistol round win in the second half, marking a great start for them. The team won 5 consecutive rounds to reduce the score to 9-11. It seemed that mousesports was about to collapse when they tightened their defense, winning 5 rounds in a row to win 16-9.
