Recently Riot Games has officially released the first images of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story – the spinoff of the hit game League of Legends. It is known that Ruined King will launch on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and soon PS5, Xbox Series X / S platforms in early 2021.
Ruined King was developed by Airship Syndicate, the development team behind Darksiders Genesis and by Riot Forge release. Riot Forge is a new indie publishing franchise announced last year by Riot Games that is part of Riot Games’ plan to work with other developers to expand the League of Legends universe.
Not too much information about Ruined King has been revealed, we only know that this is a game RPG single-player, set in the Bilgewater and Shadow Isles regions of Runeterra (the planet where the events of League of Legends). Bilgewater is a scenic city, home to marine hunters, factions, and merchants from all over the world. Shadow Isles is an island often surrounded by clouds, the land on the island is also contaminated by witchcraft. To defeat mysterious enemies, players must join hands with famous champions in League of Legends to embark on an adventurous journey.
Riot Forge also revealed a list of League of Legends champions that players can control in Ruined King, including Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Ahri, and Pyke. Temporarily the gameplay of the game has not been revealed, but Riot Forge is committed to bringing more information about Ruined King to players in December.
