Respawn Entertainment has just updated with more information about the adjustments players can expect in Apex Legends in Season 2.
On June 14, Respawn gave an update on the known bugs and how they fixed them.
Pathfinder’s Hitbox
Perhaps most important is Pathfinder’s attempt to fix the hitbox, this Robot legend is difficult to balance accurately.
Respawn says that they are “researching the Pathfinder hitbox and reviewing player feedback. At the time of Season 2’s launch, we’ll be tweaking the hitbox and will be more specific as Season 2 draws closer.”
Auto-fire error
Equally important, the team says they will be fixing “in two stages” for automatic fire weapons, specifically the Mastiff shotgun.
Phase 1, Respawn plans to tune the server to make this error less likely, because the server will limit it. However, “fully fixing this will require updating the client in the future.”
Lag and disconnect
The article also states that Respawn is actively investigating issues related to lag and disconnection that are currently being reported by many players.
The team said they are aware of the situation and will update as soon as possible, but it seems that a general solution is not yet available.
Other topics covered in the article include the ring showing empty, healing items that are twice as effective, and Legend not showing the banner at the end of the game.
Season 2 of Apex Legends will launch on July 2. Hopefully players will have fewer errors and the game will have more exciting new content.
