OG will have four remaining members for next week’s DreamLeague Minor with their coach Sébastien “7ckngMad” Debs.
The organization recently announced that Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok will be leaving the team due to his lack of performance in tournaments. Since Resolut1on joined the team on October 1, 2017, OG won the MDL Macau Minor, 4th place at Summit 8 Minor, top 4 at Captain’s Draft Minor, top 4 at the supposed Galaxy Battles Originally a major but was eliminated by Valve, qualifying in Dota Pro Circuit tournaments, including DreamLeague Minor next week, EPICENTER XL and DAC next month.
Resolut1on’s withdrawal from the lineup proves that this is a big loss for OG especially as they have 3 DPC (Dota Pro Circuit) tournaments ahead, 2 of which are Major. Regardless of what they’re doing right now, OG won’t get any benefit from the DPC points and the chance to qualify for TI8 through either the DPC score leaderboard or the rescinded direct invite to the qualifiers.
A few words from Resolut1on:
[penci_blockquote style=”style-2″ align=”none” author=”” font_style=”italic”]I’m so excited to be a part of OG. I really appreciate the valuable experience and knowledge that Guys, Tal, Jesse, Gustav, Seb, Johan, Evany have brought to me during the past time. I hope that this decision will benefit us.[/penci_blockquote]
OG’s current pick is the regional qualifiers and they have less than 2 months to perfect their roster before the most important tournament of the year kicks off.
As for Resolut1on, his future and plans are still in question. He was in a state where no team would look before TI7, but then Empire summoned him in the final stages of a stand in position because the team’s carry had a visa problem. Resolut1on and Empire had an extremely impressive performance at TI last year placing 8th.
On March 17th we saw two huge roster changes. First Kyle left CompLexity Gaming, then OG announced Resolut1on’s departure. Both players share a common goal and their era has just begun.
Era of OG.Resolut1on has ended. New era is about to begin ?

It’s been a hell of a ride with coL. 1296 days to be exact. On day 1, I said I wanted to win two TI’s. Zak, Beef, I wish we could have brought at least one home together. I love you guys.
Tomorrow is a new day 1 and my goal is still the same.
You’re only a failure if you quit.
