Resident Evil Village is quite a bit of a survival game, role-playing, open world.
According to information revealed by Game Informer, Resident Evil Village will update a new feature, first appearing in this series. That is, gamers can hunt animals for food. In the trailer, viewers will see the main character Ethan Winters shoot fish, pigs, goats and chickens with a pistol and then collect food.

As the video explains, once you’ve killed the animals and taken their meat, you can take it to The Duke’s Kitchen, where a duke will prepare a meal for you. For example, if you collect the right ingredients from a bird and a Pilaf monster, after eating, you will receive permanent damage reduction.
Near this duke will also have a place for you to upgrade weapons, make ammo and buy items. Game currency can be found on destroyed enemies or by selling precious items found throughout the game. An example of an upgrade would be to reduce the vibration on a sniper rifle or increase the damage of a pistol.
Thus, overall, Resident Evil Village has a lot of the direction of survival, role-playing, open world games. This is probably something new with this series and let’s wait and see if Resident Evil Village will succeed or fail with its innovations.
