Resident Evil Re:Verse Beta is open for free on Steam

Gamers have been able to download and play the Beta version of Resident Evil Re:Verse.

Fan and gaming excitement for Resident Evil Village has continued to grow over the past few weeks. Just recently, Capcom revealed a lot of new information about this upcoming horror game in a new showcase event, starring the villain Lady Dimitrescu. While the gaming community is looking forward to each day to experience Resident Evil Village, at this time, gamers can play a multiplayer part called Resident Evil Re:Verse.

Specifically today, the Open Beta for Resident Evil Re:Verse is now available to download on PC (via Steam) completely free, according to the schedule, the test period of Resident Evil Re:Verse will be begins today and ends on April 10. This means that gamers can experience Resident Evil Re:Verse for free within the next 4 days.

As a reminder, this is multiplayer and will launch with Resident Evil Village on May 7 as part of this horror title. Also gamers will need a CAPCOM account to play, so make sure you have one or sign up for an account if you don’t already have one. In gamers gamers will be able to choose their own characters from the series like Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong and participate in death battles with four to six different players. Each match will last five minutes and the player with the most points wins.

Gamers can see in the Resident Evil Re:Verse trailer below that matches will take place in various locations from across the main Resident Evil titles, such as the Racoon City police department from Resident Evil 2. And to make things even more interesting, players can turn the tide of battle and transform into bioweapon to take revenge on the players who took them down. The more Virus capsules a player collects, the more powerful they can become.
