PUBG raises funds for bushfires in Australia with special edition “frying pan”

The bushfires that have ravaged Australia for months are now being “contained” by rains, but followed by massive floods. The devastation had severe consequences including 33 deaths, nearly 3,000 homes destroyed, and the loss of up to a million animals. To assist Australia in its efforts to overcome difficulties, PUBG Corporation released a limited edition charity frying pan skin in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, skin sales will be donated to the homeland of kangaroos.

Relief Pan Australia’s bushfires feature a decorative motif of a koala holding a kangaroo by artist SWatercolour. Special Skins This will be on the store from February 20 to March 18 for $3 for the PC version, while console players will be able to purchase the skin from February 27 to March 26 for 300 G-Coins. After that period, all funds raised will be donated to an undisclosed charity.

The team of PUBG shared “For those of you who bought the skin, we thank you for being a part of the effort to support Australia. If you don’t like this skin, please consider other disaster relief packages and donate directly. It will take some time for Australia and its environment to recover from a large-scale disaster, but we are grateful to be able to help them and appreciate those who fans are willing to contribute.”

Some of the fundraising efforts came from other games including the Humble Bundle – the most expensive ship sale in EVE Online history, Modern Warfare’s Outback Relief Pack worth $1.6 million, Destiny t-shirts 2, and the Hunt: Showdown DLC is on sale through March 31.
