PUBG moves to Free to Play starting next month

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will go free-to-play starting January 12. This rumor has been around for some time before the publisher. Krafton officially confirmed at The Game Awards that PUBG: Battlegrounds will really join the ranks of the game battle royale free.

PUBG once opened for free for a week in early August in a collaboration event with the popular K-pop group Blackpink. Some have predicted that this move is a test for developers to calculate the impact of switching to the model. play for free (F2P) for the long-term battle royale game development.
