PUBG Mobile 2.0 will release the official version of Livik. New features and some official changes in Livik map that you don’t know yet.
PUBG Mobile is about to release the official version of Livik – one of the two most popular maps currently in the game.
Here are the new features and some official changes in Livik map that you did not know.
1. Graphics
The official Livik looks more different from the old map due to the new graphics. Livik is still a 2×2 map with fast-paced battles and high item spawn rates. But the change in graphic quality makes it look like a new map.
Here are some significant graphical changes that you can easily notice on this official map.
- You can see a large welcome gate with a multicolored alley at the entrance of Midstein;
- There is a megamall with three large buildings for players to shop randomly marked on the map. The position of the megamall will change every match.
- Like the Aftermath map in PUBG, the official Livik in PUBG Mobile also features an active volcano in the southwest of the map.
- The zipline is also enhanced. The player can use it to cross the river and get to the other side of the river quickly. The landing animation also looks more realistic and impressive.

2. New feature: Berries
Official Livik brings players unexpected joy with new strawberry bushes all over the map. These sweet berries can quench your thirst and restore 40% of water, similar to Energy Drinks.
Each berry bush can be harvested. These bushes usually grow in open ground with no shade or shelter. So you should be careful when picking fruit to eat because enemies can easily detect you.
3. Football field
Football fans have a playground in Northwest Bloomster on a smaller scale. But it is not a playground for exciting football matches because PUBG Mobile is still a survival game. You can see three big balls on the ground.
There are two ways to interact with the ball:
- Tap the kick button to dribble;
- Hold the kick button to pummel for a power hit.
After players score points, they get some store tokens to buy supplies from vendors or megamall.
4. Loot Crates
The official Livik in the upcoming update will have more loot crates than the old Livik map. There are two types of loot crates all over the map with two different colors.
- The blue crates provide the player with supplies to fight and survive.
- Gold crates give players shopping tokens to buy supplies from vendors and megamall.
You can easily spot these loot crates on the high rocks, in the Ruins and around the estuary area. Don’t miss these crates if you’re safe enough to loot. You can get more tokens from these gold crates than from scoring on the football field.

5. XT upgrade crate
The new XT upgrade bin is the biggest change in the official Livik. But it is still limited in weapons. You can upgrade the following five weapons to XT weapons, including:
- Shotguns;
- M416;
- P90;
- Mk12;
- M24.
Players need to use store tokens to purchase these weapon upgrade kits at any shop vendor on the map to upgrade their weapons to XT level. After upgrading, these weapons have some better stats, such as lower recoil, shorter reload time, etc.
