PUBG Mobile 2.0: Livik map improvements, new weapons and vehicles you need to know

After the recent release of beta 2.0, gamers have begun to anticipate the arrival of the next version of the game.

A few days ago, a video was posted on PUBG Mobile’s YouTube channel in which the developers discussed various changes that will be included in version 2.0. They also revealed some unique events that will take place.

Below is information about newly leaked weapons, vehicles, features as well as events.

Livik map update

In version 2.0, an update of the Livik 2×2 Map will be released. Basically, the developers will add the following changes:

New themed areas

In this update, changes have been made to Midstein and Blomster. Furthermore, the Lumber Yard site has been upgraded to a Logistics Center. On top of that, the update will also introduce a new area called ‘Iceborg.’

New off-road vehicle

Although the map is relatively small, a new all-terrain vehicle, the UTV, will be added. UTV will help users move through different terrain more smoothly. It is quite flexible and can be useful in performing rotations.

Buy XT weapons

XT versions of various weapons have been added to the Supply Shops on the Livik map. Users will be able to obtain them by purchasing a special XT Upgrade Bucket.

New features and gameplay

There will be a lot of new gameplay-based features built into Livik:

• Advanced Supply Zone: These specific areas will give players high level items.
• Treasure hunt: A treasure map has been added and users can locate crates using them.
• Football challenge: A soccer field has been introduced into Blomster and individuals can score goals to earn items.
• High-flying vehicles: Vehicle ramps have also been made available and users can launch themselves into the air using them.
• Zip path: Players can move and rotate on the map using the added zip lines.
• Berry Hunt: BILLIONFruits are added and the gamer can use them to restore energy.

Classic BR improvement

New map features

When outside of the amusement park, users will be able to call an ambulance to have the rescue plane drop them in the middle of the play area.

Basic experience improvements

A series of improvements to the controls will be introduced to ensure that gamers have a better experience while playing PUBG Mobile. This includes tactile features.

New Battle Royale Arena

An arena version of the Sanhok map will be added to familiarize gamers with gunfights.

Ban Pan

In 2022, Ban Pan Security System will get significant changes and Ban Pan 2.0 Security System will be introduced in PUBG Mobile 2.0 update. It will have many security features like linking mobile numbers. Developers will also provide smarter and faster anti-hacking measures.

Cooperate

Krafton also revealed collaborations with Evangelion, GB Teddy Bear, and BLACKPINK. The specifics are yet to be revealed, but they will likely be announced in the coming months.
