A day after PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds announced the delay of its 2018 development roadmap, other priorities are still being prioritized by PUBG Corp. take care. One of these priorities is the two new crates. Fever and Militia Crate: Fever crates will be free to open, Militia has to pay an additional fee, 2 new crates will start airing on February 22.
Along with the introduction of new crates comes a change in how players get loot boxes in PUBG. Previously, crates could be purchased with in-game virtual currency. The player pays a certain amount of BP, which increases with each purchase, and receives a random chest. Sometimes, chests require a key to open (for a fee), but most can be opened for free. Each week, players can get 6 random crates this way, as long as they have enough BP to redeem.
Starting February 22, players can get 6 more crates, not to mention random crates that can be purchased with BP. These six extra crates will be part of the “Featured” Crate. The first crate that will be added “featured” is the Fever Crate, which requires a key to open. Like random crates, each Fever Crate increases BP each time you buy it.
As expected, the announcement of the PUBG crate this time was not without controversy. Many in the PUBG community are wondering about the delay of the development roadmap while new crates are still being released. With paid in-game content continuing to roll out, while PUBG Corp. not keeping in good contact with the community, plus new problems constantly appearing in the game – the anger of the players is understandable.
