PS4 gets Days Gone, Xbox One responds with DayZ

DayZ was part of Steam’s Early Access plan four years ago. And since then, DayZ has had a very long way to get a beta version of a game Zombies expected by many. In recent times, DayZ has seen great development, with a beta for the PC version. Bohemia Interactive has finally revealed the details of the game’s plans in the near future.

In a blog post to update gamers on the status of the game and the developer’s plans, Bohemia confirmed that they are planning to bring DayZ to the Console platform, and begin – the main surprise. is a machine Xbox One. Responding to a fan on Twitter, the developer confirmed that the main reason for this is due to Xbox One features a pre-game experience similar to Steam’s Early Access program, while Sony there is not a similar program for developers to use. The developer also emphasized that they can’t be sure of a version for PS4 in 2018, but Bohemia Interactive will do its best for PS4 gamers to experience this Zombie super product.

The developer also revealed that the beta version for PC will not appear this year. Instead, DayZ will most likely be released in 2018, because once it’s released, the game will officially be in Early Access on Steam. The publisher’s representative also confirmed that 2018 will be an important year for the development team with long-term plans for DayZ and affirmed that this will be a great game.

While the news may be disappointing for fans, the development team promises that DayZ will be worth the wait as the beta adds more changes and exciting updates. From a content perspective, the beta adds new Zombies as well as enhanced melee combat features. Character and Zombie gestures have also been rebuilt, updated with more maps…DayZ is now available in Early Access on Steam and launches for Xbox One in 2018.
