Project Windless – The Avengers Game Artist breathes life into the new Online Game masterpiece

This is the plan to develop a bigger multimedia game and franchise based on the fantasy novel The Bird That Drinks Tears. This announcement represents an evolution in KRAFTON’s vision of expanding the value of the original intellectual property.

Project Windless was first revealed in 2019 and it looks like KRAFTON is heading to the global market with an English press release. The Bird That Drinks Tears is a novel series written by Lee Yeong-do, this novelist is considered a pioneer of the fantasy genre in Korea. He is one of the best-selling authors in Korea with millions of copies in print. With a special imagination, he built elaborate worlds with complex characters.

To create a specific shape for The Bird That Drinks Tears universe, KRAFTON recruited Iain McCaig, concept artist from Hollywood. McCaig was involved in the character design process in Star Wars and many other blockbuster series such as The Avengers, Harry Potter and Terminator.
