Project Eve – Korean graphic masterpiece hits with crazy trailer

New trailer of Project Eve appear in PlayStation Showcase along with a series of blockbuster introduction videos such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Alan Wake Remastered, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. Project Eve was first announced in 2019 and the developer SHIFT UP Corporation said the game will have a PC version.

At first glance, Project Eve is an action role-playing game with a style quite similar to Bayonetta or Nier. In the trailer, protagonist Eve is constantly moving, spinning, and flipping while battling a giant monster. Monsters in Project Eve are designed quite interestingly. They have a bizarre appearance, are equipped with saw blades and possess countless eyes.

Regarding gameplay, director Kim Hyung Tae shared on the PlayStation blog that the character Eve will “gain Beta Gauge (BG) by parrying and dodging enemy attacks while fighting.” Players can use BG to learn skills such as super armor penetration, quick aoe attacks, breaking enemy combos, and more. BG is also used to activate summoner spells and powerful attacks like a fatal stab. In addition to gameplay, fashion features are also focused on by the developer. Players can equip a variety of stylish costumes for the character Eve.
