Jump bind is an extremely useful tool for nade throwing in CSGO, but pro players also use the Source engine to create new and improved methods.
Astralis player Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen has shared his new jump bind on social media. With Bubzkji’s method, gamers can throw the nade a little further without sacrificing accuracy.
To try bind throws the new nade, open the console and copy the following line. In this case, you can change “n” to whatever key you want:
bind “n” “+forwardjumpthrow”;alias “+forwardjumpthrow” “+forward;+jump;-attack”;alias “-forwardjumpthrow” “-jump;-forward”
This bind is more unique than the old one because it adds a bit of forward movement when you push the button. This will apply a bit of inertia to the nade, helping the nade to fly further, but remaining stable at all times. To use this jump bind permanently, be sure to include it in your config.
Yes currently, there’s a 2 different jump scripts.
The “new” forward jump makes u able to throw smokes further than before, while still being 100% accurate.
If u noticed, people took a small step forward recently when they throw a smoke, its not themselves. Its the jumpscript

New jump bind helps nade fly farther than usual
To prove that the new jump bind works, the article has tested and compared it with a normal jump bind. In this example, we use long A map Overpass. The starting point is at the very end of the A long corner from the T Spawn side.
As you can see in the image below, the smoke comes closer when using a traditional jump bind. Smoke flies further using Bubzkji’s new method. Moving up slightly increases the throwing speed. In this example, the smoke will bounce back to the wall if the alignment is higher. This creates a lot of new nade phases on the map.
This jump bind exploits a very distinct point from the Source engine. When the player jumps, they bring with them the inertia from moving on the ground. But once jumped, moving forward will not help the character move faster.
Since the new jump bind changes the nade’s movement direction, you need to practice new smokes and flashes. Alternatively, you can use various jump binds for the keys in the console command. You can read more tutorials about useful console commands to use in practice:
