Prevent others from posting on Facebook wall

By default, everyone who has connected as friends with you has permission to post on your wall. However, to avoid the case that other people go to your Facebook wall to advertise or “slander”, you can set it up to prevent friends, not allowing them to post posts on your wall anymore.

How to block friends’ posts on Facebook wall

Step 1: To block others from posting on your Facebook wall, you need to first log in to your personal Facebook page. Click on the arrow icon in the upper right corner of the Facebook interface and select Settings (Setting).

Step 2: The Facebook account settings interface opens, here you click on the item Timeline and Tagging Settings (Timeline and tagging) as shown below.

Step 3: The Timeline and Tagging Settings interface opens, here you click Edit (Edit) corresponding to item Who can post on your timelines? (Who can post to your timeline?)

Step 4: The Who Can Post to Your Timeline option opens with 2 options for you.
– Friends (Friends): Allows friends to post to the Facebook wall.
– Only me (Only me): Only allows you to post, other people can’t post on Facebook wall.

If you want to prevent others from posting on the Facebook wall, you choose the mode Only me (Only me) and click Close (Close) to finish.

Done, so you have set up the mode to prevent others from posting, you can use another Facebook account (if any) to check the mode has been activated or not. If you want to turn off this setting and want your friends to post normally, just repeat the steps above and select Friends in step 4.
