Ryoo Kyung-hyun or SeleCT used to be a pretty popular name in the community Starcraft 2. Posted on his personal page not long ago, SeleCT said that he was looking for a job and hoped that his followers, if they knew which software company was recruiting, would introduce him to him.

And SeleCT got really lucky when Tobi Lütke – CEO of e-commerce company Shopify happened to be one of his fans. Immediately, SeleCT received an invitation to work from this Director. Leaving a comment under SeleCT’s post, the CEO said: “I would be very happy if you came to work at Shopify. Your Starcraft track record is more than enough for a stellar CV and the position definitely belongs to you.”
