Are you ready to end 2020? You will not be alone, bored because there is a Pokemon Go New Year event coming up. The event will begin on December 31 at 22:00 local time and run until 22:00 on January 4.

New skins for Slowpoke
Entering 2021, Pokemon Go will add a new skin to the current list, which is Slowpoke wearing glasses 2020. Accordingly, the trainer will be able to catch this special Slowpoke in the wild, after completing the missions. Field Research, when participating in raids or hatching eggs from 2 km. Evolving a plain-clothed Slowpoke will turn into a glasses-wearing Slowbro in 2021.
New skins for Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu
Familiar Pokemon, wearing New Year hats and party hats will also return for the New Year event. These include Pichu hatching from a 2 km egg and Pikachu appearing in the wild and after the player completes the Field Research quest. Players can get both Pikachu and Raichu with New Year’s hats by evolving them.
Raid 1 star
Other Pokemon wearing party hats such as Raticate, Wobbuffet, Wurmple, Klink and Epurr will appear in 1-Star Raids.
And for Eevee fans, a version of the party hat will be available as a bonus from Field Research.
