Pokemon Go hits 800 million downloads after 2 years of launch

Pokemon Go used to be a game that exploded globally a few years ago, just a few months after the release of record numbers for Pokemon Go made people stunned. In the past few years, this game has more or less shown signs of cooling down. However, that does not mean that the number of Pokemon Go players has decreased.

Recently, the developer CEO of Pokemon Go said that up to now, the number of people who have downloaded Pokemon Go has reached 800 million people. Just last March the number of downloads was around 650 million, but after nearly 3 months this number has increased dramatically. This proves that this game still receives a lot of love from players around the world.

In addition, this developer also simultaneously announced two new games, Let’s go and PokemonQuest, and in 2019 will release an RPG game on the Nintendo Switch platform.
