Niantic has announced the launch season 3 of Pokémon Go Battle League coming along with a summary of the previous season. Pokemon Go Season 2 Tournament has more players participating and completed over 1 billion matches. This season’s new Premier Cup has been so popular that Niantic brought it back to Pokémon Go Battle League Season 3, simultaneously, expanding it to Ultra League. The schedule is announced as follows:

• The Great League will run from July 27, 2020 to August 10, 2020.
• Ultra League and Ultra League Premier Cup are from August 10, 2020 to August 24, 2020.
• Master League and Master League Premier Cup are from August 24, 2020 to September 7, 2020.
• All 3 leagues and Master League Premier Cup will be available in Pokemon Go from 7/9/2020 to 14/9/2020.
• Season 4 will start from September 14, 2020.

Features preserved in Pokémon Go Battle League season 3:

• No walking required.
• Good Friends or higher can fight from a distance.
• Pikachu Libre avatar-style items will continue to be rewarded at Rank 7.
• The combat, win and ranking requirements remain the same this season.

Some changes in Pokémon Go Battle League season 3:

• The new Flying Cup, where only flying Pokemon can be used. The Flying Cup will be available throughout the upcoming event.
• Removed Battle Until You Win feature.
• Pidgeot will be a guaranteed reward for the clash that starts at level 1.
• The Galarian Zigzagoon is the reward for the brawl that started at level 4.
• Galarian Farfetch’d is the reward for the battle at level 7.
• Rufflet is a reward for the match at level 8.
• Scraggy is the prize for the competition at level 9.
• Pikachu Libre is the prize money for the match at level 10.
• Skills and representative items will be rewards for level 10.
• A special reward – 6 Rare Candy will be awarded after 4th win.
• Coaches who complete season 3 at level 7 or above will receive an Elite ChargedTM.
• There are two Go Battle League events throughout season 3.
