However it seems that the developer’s rules Niantic has caused some players to be unjustly “imprisoned”. After collecting data on these complaints, Subreddit TheSilphRoad found that these bans seem to only target players using phones. Xiaomi of China, especially Series 5. At the moment, the specific cause of the problem is still unknown, but many players speculate that Pokemon Go’s anti-cheat system mistakenly recognizes some system processes in Xiaomi phones as hacking software.

TheSilphRoad is continuing to collect more reports and is trying to contact Niantic for answers. However, the developer has not yet given an answer for this incident. Hopefully Niantic will solve this problem soon and return access to innocent players.​
