Diablo II was released in 2000 and back then, the resolution of the game was limited to 640×480 and 25fps. Mods often can’t really fix the problem, and fans really want the game to be remake – what Blizzard committed but not yet completed. A gamer tried to give Diablo II a new look.
Michael Reznor posted a video showing 16 minutes of Diablo 2 gameplay in 4K . resolution and 60fps on YouTube. To “makeover” this gameplay, Michael used AI system upgrade techniques and motion interpolation techniques. While it’s not an available mod, the video gives fans a clearer look at the remake’s changes in the future.
In spite of Graphics of Diablo II was upgraded to 800×600 after the release of the expansion, but the 25fps limit is a sore point for players today. The upper limit makes all mouse movements much harder than before, and there’s no way to increase the frame rate without also speeding up the game.
