At the end of February 2018, EHOME’s position 2 player Old Chicken moved to Keen Gaming – but the deal didn’t last long as he now returns to EHOME.
Wang ‘old chicken’ Zhiyon has been a key member of EHOME for years, helping the team win minor Dota 2 tournaments – but has yet to find a Major. On February 27, 2018, the old chicken swapped places with Yuan ‘Ying’ Jingkai of Keen Gaming to regain form and change the wind for the team. Since joining, Keen Gaming’s highest achievement is reaching the top 4 at EPICENTER XL China Open Qualifier, unfortunately they were unable to qualify for the official round. DAC 2018, the Major tournament just ended, saw Keen Gaming eliminated in the group stage, standing at 15-16 despite the promising team having defeated both OG and OpTic Gaming.
Well, that was quick. In accordance with players’ wishes, old chicken returns to EHOME as Ying (萤) goes back to KG in another direct swap move.

After the unsatisfactory results, Old Chiken requested to return to EHOME and Ying returned to Keen Gaming. That means Keen Gaming must continue to compete in the Dota 2 Professional League Season 5 in China with Ying, instead of Chicken. EHOME, although eliminated from Dota 2 Professional League Season 5 (DPL) in the first round, hopes to still promote Old Chicken to find a good ranking at GESC: Thailand Dota 2 Minor. The Chinese qualifiers will start next week and they will certainly have a hard time getting a ticket.
Let’s see if Keen Gaming can take the top 3 at DPL and get them a ticket to the MDL Changsha Major.
