Nowhere Prophet officially launched on Xbox Game Pass

Nowhere Prophet Lets you traverse a post-apocalyptic wasteland on the distant planet Soma, where bandits and madmen fight fiercely for the last pieces of land. At the end of this world is the mysterious Crypt that brings safety and prosperity to you and your followers. Each follower follows you like a card and can be injured or killed along the way. Only you can ensure their safety on this dangerous road.

Nowhere Prophet launches Xbox Game Pass

Nowhere Prophet is a single-player card game with randomly generated maps, high difficulty, and permanent deaths. Only the best can survive each hand and very few make it to Crypt. Each deck member you collect, buy, or trade is a human, a loyal beast, or a machine built to aid you through the wasteland. They all have certain names and relationships. However, be careful not to give them two consecutive wounds because they will die and be removed from your escort forever.

Although it is a difficult game to play, Nowhere Prophet is an attractive game. Sharing everything with your fellow citizens and showing kindness on the road will be difficult. You will have to make tough decisions along the way but it will create a strength that will allow you to achieve your goals. Choosing evil is easy but your convoy will struggle without a glimmer of hope. There will also be ways to interact with the world, hidden knowledge, religion and even others along the way to Soma.

During your journey, you will navigate through a randomly generated map. You will need to keep an eye on your resources as you choose your route. Some roads are definitely more dangerous than others but are also better rated. Your choices when you move will be important. As you move, you will also encounter many strange places and even strangers. Each event will be influenced by the people traveling with you. You will also be thrust into situations where their fate is in your hands.

If you are lucky enough to win a prize for helping someone, making a turning point or robbing someone along the way, then invest in improving your deck. This can help you gain more followers, capture some luxuries to hold onto hope for your escort, or a new armor/weapon to make your oracle stronger.

You will need to defeat the enemy to protect your convoy and resources. Choosing how to fight is also important even if it’s just to collect some new loot! Fight to turn the game into a turn-based strategy card game where you must win to stay alive. Maneuver cards to take your followers to the next level and defeat your enemies, or use skills to change the battlefield. Be careful, though: If you get hurt, you’ll have to find a safe place to heal, and if one of your followers is seriously injured, you’ll lose them forever.

Publisher Nowhere Prophet has enjoyed the support and interest of players since 2014. You can now escape Soma on Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass. You will soon reach the Crypt.
