Nintendo E3 2019: Breath of the Wild 2 and all the games announced

The Nintendo E3 Direct has ended and the game that has attracted the most attention is the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Here is a summary of all the game news and trailers we got at E3 2019 this time:

Season 2 of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo released a short teaser that reads, “A sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development.” The game has no release date, official name or other information.

Two new DLC characters in Smash Ultimate

Nintendo promises to announce new DLC characters in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, launching this summer of 2019. While the Dragon Quest character was announced, everyone was quite surprised when the second character was Banjo-Kazzoie.

Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition announced the release date on Switch

Nintendo and Square Enix confirm the release date of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch. The game will be released on September 27. Before that, Square Enix confirmed the full version will be available in “Fall 2019”.

Gameplay Luigi’s Mansion 3 Launches on Nintendo Switch

Fire Emblem: Three Houses releases plot trailer

The strategy game that follows the story formula of your choice has just released a new plot trailer in the style of Harry Potter. You play as Byleth (female or male), a teacher at Officer’s Academy. The school is divided into three houses, each led by a powerful figure from one of the three nations that make up the continent of Fódlan. Edelgard is the princess of the Adrestian Empire, Dimitri is the prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and Claude is the successor of the Leicester Alliance.

Two Resident Evil titles coming soon to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo also said that two Resident Evil titles will be available on Switch this fall. They are the port of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.

No More Heroes 3 Announces Nintendo Switch

In No More Heroes 3, Travis Touchdown is the ultimate hero. He now equips himself with armor and a new katana sword, more powerful than ever. This lightheartedly humorous title will continue the third season on Nintendo Switch. No More Heroes 3 will be released in 2020. The specific release date has not been announced yet.

Daemon x Machina release date announced

Nintendo announced a new trailer for Daemon x Machina. The trailer ends with a release date of September 13.

Panzer Dragoon Remake announced on Nintendo Switch

Panzer Dragoon, remake of the classic shooter Sega, has been announced for Nintendo Switch. Developed by Forever Entertainment’s Megapixel Studio, the newly announced game will be a remake of the original Panzer Dragoon, which first debuted on the Sega Saturn in 1995.

New Game Contra on Nintendo Switch

The Contra franchise returns this year with a new Nintendo Switch game called Contra Rogue Corps. Announced at E3 2019, Rogue is a third-person shooter title. And yet, the game also has a top-down and side-view perspective. You can play solo or fight other players in online or local multiplayer.

Contra Anniversary Collection

In addition to the above announcement, Konami also launched Contra Collection on the Nintendo eShop. Contra Collection also offers 10 classic Contra games, including European Proboctor games. New Ultimate Alliance 3 Trailer with Marvel’s Super Heroes

In Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, we see a lot of Marvel superheroes and villains appearing in the game, including Hela, Surtur, Magneto (somehow Magneto already owns the Reality infinity stone. At – Reality), Miles Morales, Doctor Octopus, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Kamalan Khan, Gwen Stacey, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers. The trailer shows that the main character of The Black Order is Thanos.

The trailer also says that The Black Order will release an expansion pass, adding new characters to the game. With this Pass, you’ll get access to characters from the Marvel Knights, X-Men, and Fantastic Four.

The Witcher 3 announced on Nintendo Switch

It has been rumored for a long time, but only now Nintendo announced at E3 2019. CD Projekt Red will bring the super product The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Nintendo Switch. This is the Complete Edition and will include two expansion packs – Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Regarding the launch time, Nintendo confirmed The Witcher 3 will be available on Switch later in the year.

Poke Ball Plus handle in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Nintendo says Pokemon Sword & Shield will be compatible with Poke Ball Plus.

Poke Ball Plus is a Poke Ball-shaped controller that debuted with last year’s Pokemon games, Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. As we learned at this E3, you can use Poke Ball Plus to summon your Pokemon in Sword and Shield and take them with you while you go, like everyone did in Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. Nintendo even hinted that something good will happen if you bring your Pokemon along. However, it seems that players cannot use Poke Ball Plus as a handle in Sword & Shield.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Coming to Switch

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is being ported to Switch. The game previously launched on PS4 and Xbox One last year but is coming to Switch on September 3. The remaster includes the first three Spyro games: Spyro the Dragon (1998), Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage (1999), and Spyro : Year of the Dragon (2000).

Animal Crossing for Switch delayed

One of the highly anticipated titles at E3 2019 is Animal Crossing on Switch. Officially titled Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the latest installment of the game will move its release date to March 20, 2020.
