The latest Dota Battle Pass update is officially live, but according to an unexpected formula: Dota Plus. Now, you will no longer have to buy a Battle Pass that is limited to an event or time, Dota Plus is a paid monthly service and its features will be updated from time to time.

The main features of Dota Plus include:
- Hero Progression System: detailed leveling system with each hero challenge, stats and rewards (including badges, chat wheel, relic and more)
- Dota Plus Shop: You can use the Shards currency you get in various ways or special sets.
- Plus Assistant: real-time guidance on crafting/skilling/laning and drafting for you in-game (with live stat tracking with global trends) as well as a win-win chart follow.
- Battle Cups: the weekly tournament is back, free for Dota Plus members and $0.99 per ticket for everyone else (the prize for the winner, aside from the special emoticons and badges on the profile, will be 20,000. Shards.)
Dota Plus is currently $3.99 a month, with a discounted price if you sign up for a 6 or 12 month plan (including a bonus for new signup members).
