Platform Transfer

For those of you who start experiencing NBA 2K21 MyTEAM when the Xbox One version launches on September 4, your entire collection and progress will continue once you start playing the Xbox Series version of the game. X. This means you’ll have access to all cards drawn and earned (and any progressions associated with them), your progress in Domination, Triple Threat and all VC sets, MyTEAM points, as well as Tokens.

The transfer process is quite simple and you don’t need to do anything. In fact, you can even experience going back and forth between the 2 versions. Information about the NBA 2K21 version for Xbox Series X will be revealed soon.

Learn the new Seasons concept in MyTEAM

One of the cool things about MyTEAM is how the mode is always evolving, whether it’s through new cards that change the meta or new content that offers a host of valuable rewards. In NBA 2K21, the concept of Seasons was introduced in MyTEAM.

The developer gives 2 main tenets for MyTEAM Season designed for 2K21. Firstly, new updates on most modes per Season and 2nd is adding new content to modes every Season. Some Seasons will add new content, while other Seasons will add new features to the game or add new rewards that you will have to pursue throughout the Season. It is important that each season brings a feeling of freshness.

MyTEAM Limited mode

New to NBA 2K21, MyTEAM Limited is a limited-time mode every Friday and Saturday, with new rules every weekend. Find and collect the Championship Ring every weekend during the Season to earn a powerful card that will make all opponents jealous of you.

New Exchange feature

Exchange is a new feature in NBA 2K21 that gives you the opportunity to trade some cards you no longer use for cards that will become a staple of your starting lineup.

New Evolution Card

Evolution Cards is back and better than ever. You’ll now have more control over how Evolution cards evolve as they level up. Will you improve Shaq’s Rebound or his blocking ability? The choice is yours!

MyCAREER

This year’s MyCAREER story takes you on a journey to pursue your own basketball career, from start to finish: the National Basketball Association. Build your own basketball player, take him to the top of his career and make a name for himself in the global basketball universe.

Making the journey even more real to life, your character will travel from the high school basketball court to one of 10 officially licensed colleges like UCLA, Michigan State, and UCONN. The better you compete in college, the more valuable what you get in the NBA.
