Na`Vi CEO: “The current results of the Dota 2 team are really unsatisfactory”

Na`Vi exited the closed qualifiers for the CIS MDL Changsha Major after losing to two mixed teams in a bo3 format: first to Slozhniy memas2 in the group stage, followed by MEGA-LADA E-Sports in the first round of the playoffs. This failure forced the CEO of the organization to step in. Since the team is still in the top 8 of the Dota Pro Circuit, a roster change is unlikely, but if this issue persists, the team will definitely need a change.

Natus Vincere got a new squad at the start of the season. They started poorly but gradually improved themselves: participating in events and finishing in the top 4 at the DreamLeague Season 8 Major. After that, internal problems caused SoNNeikO and RodjER to leave, forcing the team to quickly find replacements with LeBronDota and Lil.

Thanks to a large amount of DPC points from Lil, Na`Vi jumped to the top 8 in the Dota Pro Ciruit leaderboard and received a lot of live spots. But the team’s strength recently made many people doubt: last place at ESL One Katwoice 2018 and Bucharest Major despite being the invited team. After that, the team also reached the top 4 at GESC: Indonesia by defeating Fnatic. Currently, the team is in the top 8 rankings with 1199 points, ahead of Mineski (900) and Fnatic (614).
