Halloween is a big holiday of the year, and every October, the developer World of Tanks hosts some spectacular spooky events for its players, and this year is no exception. The Monster Hunter challenge and monster tanks are now available in World of Tanks.
Monster Hunter turns every armored vehicle into the beasts of the battlefield. From October 13 to November 2, you’ll pursue XP thresholds based on how much XP you’ve earned in regular multiplayer wars. At some threshold, you will receive rewards such as Level or Silver points for the current season. At some other thresholds, you’ll have the option to get 1 of 10 ferocious monster tanks. You only get to choose one monster tank this Halloween season, so make smart choices.
The 10 monster tanks coming to Halloween this year include Dragon Type 62, Höllenhund leKpz M 41 90, Lycan T71, Kaiju OI, Gorynych KV-5, Revenant Kraft’s Panther, Bog Horror, Wraith Panzer 58, Bellerophon Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC and Inferno Chimera.
Each tank is a ferocious warrior during normal times of the year. However, Halloween week is the time when you will see the true potential of each of these beasts. From October 27 to November 2, the Monster Mash event will unleash the unique powers and abilities in each monster tank. Play on one of World of Tanks’ two special Halloween maps, Grim Graveyard and Dead City, to witness the awakening of the monster tank and battle in its spooky splendor.
It’s hard to pick your favorite tank, but in addition to being able to earn a monster tank in the Monster Hunter challenge, you’ll also be able to buy them from the shop during the event.
Besides the exciting fun of the Monster Mash, the monster tanks offer some special benefits from October 13 to November 2. During that time, each team of monster tank drivers will earn double Crew XP. Additionally, monster tanks purchased from the store will be eligible for the Monster Drop Op, which allows you to receive a random Drop reward for every win with a monster tank purchased in multiplayer or Monster Mash. Drop Rewards can include XP Boosters, Repair Kits, Silver and more.
And if you don’t own a monster tank, don’t worry because the Halloween event won’t pass without giving players a chance to haunt the battlefield. From October 27 to November 2, Specter will be available to everyone on the Monster Mash map. Enter the battlefield with this spooky tank and its skeleton crew before it disappears.
