Modder Brings Kiryu Kazuma’s Daughter Into Yakuza: Like A Dragon

Haruka Sawamura is the adopted daughter of Kiryu Kazuma, the gentle (former) gangster of the Yakuza series. Since appearing in the first season in 2005, she has been loved by many for her resilience in the face of difficulties. There were even many gamers looking forward to the day she grew up to control her in the same matches as her adoptive father.

In 2012, when Yakuza 5 launched in Japan, gamers finally got to control Haruka. Unlike the other 4 main characters, Haruka’s gameplay focuses on her ability to sing and dance. The reason is because Haruka is a singer and this game wants to show that the network of the Yakuza world affects showbiz.

Even so, many gamers are still disappointed and look forward to controlling her in matches. Therefore, many modders have edited the game’s files, changing the model of the character Kiryu to Haruka to be able to control her to fight. This was a temporary solution because Kiryu’s fighting style was brutal and unsuitable for a young girl.
