Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update release date

The Minecraft Live 2021 event did not announce the release date of the 1.19 Minecraft update. With The Wild not adding as much as Caves & Cliffs, we estimate that Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update will officially launch around April or May 2022.

Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update Update Contents

As mentioned, the new Minecraft 1.19 update is called The Wild, a bunch of new content that includes new biomes to explore, Deep Dark City, and Mangrove Trees swamp. New block types will also appear in the game, as will new animals in the worlds that the player creates.

1. Deep Dark City
The upcoming Deep Dark City will give players the opportunity to expand their exploration into caves and underground cities, Deep Dark will also have a new block called Sculk, the Sculk Catalyst block will spawn multiple Sculks than when nearby mobs are killed.

2. Mangrove Trees
Minecraft is adding a big, super neat new tree to the game:”Mangrove“. They would have drooping vines like today’s swamp plants, and they would also grow large arched roots that you could walk or swim under. What was particularly interesting were the trees. Mangrove Can be grown on land or under water. Mojang says that when you chop them down and turn them into wooden planks, you’ll be able to use them to create wood-colored decorations like doors, fences, and other wood-like products.

3. Mud Blocks
You’ll also notice that the ground in the swamp biome isn’t made up of earthen blocks. It’s actually covered with mud. You can create Blocks by pouring a water bottle on Earth. You can also place mud blocks on top of the Dripstone block, which will dry the mud block and turn it into clay. Now you’ll be able to farm yourself instead of having to wade through every water source you stumble across.

4. New Mobs in Minecraft Update 1.19 The Wild
In The Wild version 1.19 Minecraft adds 3 new types of mobs including frog, tadpoles and Firefly to enhance the vitality of the ecosystem. Players can collect tadpoles from buckets of water (identical in real life). There are three types of frogs in the game: Frog lives in the snow, heat frog and common frog. Depending on the temperature of the ecosystem, tadpoles will develop into different types of frogs.
