The new generation console is called Lockhartcurrently in development at Microsoft and will save more money by not using game discs.

The console above will compete on a par with the PlayStation 4 Pro, with the installation including an SSD drive and a faster CPU than the current system.

News leaked about the specifications of two new Xbox consoles, Lockhart and Anaconda was revealed in 2018. Then, rumors related to consoles no discs has been disproved, however a recent Kotaku paper provides contradictory information.

According to Kotaku, Lockhart will be the first version of the console without a new disc tray, while Anaconda is an upgraded version and is in development.

Anaconda is the console being considered by Microsoft to be included in the product line Project Scarlett It is expected to be released by the end of 2020.
