The latest leak from the Microsoft Store has revealed details about the game that Ubisoft was planning to announce during the upcoming Forward rollout. A shop page Immortals Fenyx Rising newly discovered, now defunct, new information about the title, showing screenshots and confirming this is a Smart Delivery game.

Here’s what Ubisoft describes about its new title on the store page:
“Order now for the bonus quest, A Tale of Fire and Lightning!
Immortals Fenyx Rising offers the great mythological adventure of a lifetime.
Play as Fenyx, a winged demigod on a mission to rescue the Greek gods. The fate of the world is at stake – you are the gods’ last hope.
– Use the powers of gods like Achilles’ sword and Daidalos’ wings to battle powerful enemies and solve ancient puzzles.
– Battle iconic mythical beasts such as Cyclops and Medusa in vivid battles in the air and on the ground.
– Use your skills and weapons including directional arrows, telepathy and more to deal devastating damage to your enemies.
– Explore the beautiful open world through 7 unique zones, each inspired by a god.
The company first announced the game at E3 2019 as Gods & Monsters, a brand new IP being developed by the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey team. However, this is one of a number of Ubisoft games that have been delayed to allow more development time, and it seems that in addition to the name change, the graphic style has also been slightly modified.
Like other upcoming Ubisoft titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising will support Xbox Smart Delivery, allowing players to play the Xbox One version on Xbox Series X and vice versa at no additional cost. The same process is expected for the PlayStation 4 version as well.
The Microsoft Store page listed the date December 3, 2020 to be Immortals Fenyx Rising release date, although this can be a form of placeholder. Ubisoft will announce the game in full during its second Forward showcase on September 10.
