Marvel’s Avengers graphic masterpiece will have Hawkeye but…

Marvel’s Avengers is about to land, and ahead of its launch, the developer has been broadcasting streams to give fans a better look at the game. The latest War Table stream offers a ton of details about the game’s beta, plus one that fans have long been waiting for – Hawkeye is a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers.

Hawkeye will appear in the game on post-launch period. The character will come with a bunch of new quests that can be played solo or co-op. Like other post-launch content (except skins) updates, Hawkeye can be unlocked by players for free. The developers are calling the post-launch updates the Avengers Initiative, followed by the Reassemble campaign.

The developers say they drew inspiration for Hawkeye from Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye: My Life As A Weapon, but did not provide details on the superhero’s gameplay.

The Marvel’s Avengers release date is set for September 4, and fans are finally getting an overview of the game. Hopefully, Marvel’s Avengers is an adventure worthy of its heroes.
