Making a mod containing 18+ content, Red Dead Redemption 2 gamers were touched by Rockstar

Copy mod Hot Coffee first appeared 15 years ago when the modder accidentally discovered a deleted source code in GTA San Andreas at release on PC. Hot Coffee is a minigame in which the main character CJ has an 18+ relationship with his girlfriend. Although none of the images were too offensive, it was this mod that caused the ESRB (Entertainment Software Review Committee) to re-rate the game from “Mature” to “Adults Only”. for adults). However, that was 15 years ago, in the era of technology like now, gamers do not need to wait for the developer to release the mod, they can make whatever mod they want. And that’s why Hot Coffee is back again but not in GTA but in Red Dead Redemption 2. Unfortunately, it seems that this mod will not last long as Take-Two as well as Rockstar game have requested the creator to remove it immediately for violating some of the company’s censorship rules.

The mod was uploaded to NexusMods on February 12 and quickly caught the eye of Take-Two and Rockstar not long after. Red Dead Redemption 2 allows players to freely create mods provided that they comply with the company’s regulations such as: prohibiting acts of decompile, copy or modify the game’s source code; Prohibit users from uploading content that is vulgar, contrary to custom, or inconsistent with community standards. The mod appears to have violated one of these rules and has been requested to be removed.

Speaking to PCGameN, the gamer who created this mod revealed that the Rockstar representative actually contacted and asked to remove it, but according to his argument:
