The developer’s aim was to remove the frustration surrounding Loki’s existing abilities while still letting Loki live up to his level as an assassin. The developer focused on maintaining stealth and doubling the character’s dagger mastery.
The character Loki has been equipped with more advanced skills in the latest update of the game Smite
One of the other notable updates is a new skill called Agonizing Visions that replaces Decoy. Currently, Loki can summon illusions. Enemies within the illusion will be poisoned and take damage. This ability is closely related to the lore of Loki when poison dripped on the face of the god. All the changes made to Loki can be found in the Smite update notes.

To celebrate Loki’s new skill, the developer also added a new Loki skin called Stealthed Slayer. During the first week of the update’s release, the Stealthed Slayer skin will be given away for free. The player will then need the first two wins of the day (First Wins of the Day) to unlock this skin. If you missed this limited time event, the skin is still available in the Smite shop for 100 gems.
Another major addition to the game is the October celebration – LGBT History Month. In honor of this month and the importance of LGBT history, Smite is adding new LGBTQ+ flag avatars in the game, and they are available as free until the next update. Just land your first win of the day and you’ll unlock six flag avatars (Lesbian, Asexual, Bisexual, Transgender, Homosexual, Gender Non-Dualistic). According to the developer, this is just one of many steps they are taking to ensure that Smite is a friendly and inclusive space that welcomes every gamer.
